As the national funding institution for business-oriented research and development in Austria, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency facilitates or enables the financing of research and innovation projects. The Research Studios Austria (RSA) programme, a funding initiative of Austria's Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs (BMDW), primarily addresses universities, including universities of applied sciences, and non-university research institutions with the aim of rapidly translating current research findings into marketable products or services. The studios are provided with numerous support measures to ensure these findings are utilised successfully on the market. And this is where Angelika Schulz-Fuss comes in with her IRRE® negotiation technique. In a very vivid way, she presented the topic to our audience, who were primarily researchers, in an introductory lecture and pointed out to them the strategic levels at which negotiations take place and the factors that can influence negotiation meetings. Her very practice-oriented background knowledge meant she was able to respond to the different needs of the attendees very competently. In the seminar, the background and tools were presented and practised to enable the participants to achieve RSA's aim.
